Nitrile glove was develop as a latex substitute because a percentage of

causes an allergic reaction on skin contact. Besides, nitrile gloves
has a better chemical resistancy against latex gloves.
Vinyl
gloves was develop as a secondary offering to nitrile. Because of the
fact that vinyl is a fairly non-reactive material, vinyl gloves are
widely used in the food service industry. The practice of donning vinyl
gloves during food prep is an excellent way to reduce
cross-contamination.
